The corn is tasseling, and with the tasseling comes the little aphids along the tassel. Last year, these did not cause any. Apparently, these are only a problem if they interfere with pollination. Corn pollinates by banging their tassels against each other, usually in a light breeze, though I do this manually to ensure pollination.If the problem gets worse, I will start by washing the aphids off with a hose.
